Agasthyarkoodam Hills


Agasthyarkoodam forest is the paradise for rare herbs and medicinal plants, its slopes are a spectacular view when they transform into colorful glades of the 'Neelakurinji', a flower which blooms only once in twelve years. It’s 70km far from Thiruvananthapuram.





Charalkunnu Hills 

Charalkunnu hill station offers a magnificent view of the nearby valleys. A camp house on the hill provides relaxed and calm lodging.






Dhoni Hills

It’s 15 km from Palakkad. It takes a three hour trek from the base of the Dhoni hills to reach this reserve forest area with its small, beautiful and striking waterfall.






Ilaveezhapoonchira
Ilaveezhapoonchira is 55 km from Kottayam and 20 km from Thodupuzha. It’s a picnic spot sited in the middle of the attractive hillocks near Kanjar. It’s surrounded by three enchanting hillocks - Mankunnu, Kodayathoormala and Thonippara.


Illickal Kallu

Illickal Kallu is of three hills, each rising to 4000 ft. and above, in together form. Each of the hills has a unusual shape. From the hilltops, the Arabian Sea can be seen in the outlying horizon as a thin blue line. The sunset on a full moon day is breathtaking, when the moon can be seen rising up like another sun, as the orange sun goes downhill.


Mattupetty
Mattupetty offers many charming sights to appreciate. Its located 13 km from Munnar and is situated at a height of 1700 m. One of the main views in Mattupetty is the beautiful lake, and the Mattupetty Dam, which are ideal picnic spots. The sprawling Kundala tea plantations and the Kundala Lake are other attractions in the environs.






Munnar
Munnar is the one of the most popular hill stations in India and is situated at the convergence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make Munnar the exceptional moments to memorize.




Neelimala
Neelimala is a wonderful viewpoint near Vaduvanchal in Wayanad. The Meenmutti waterfalls, gushing down and then flowing down in cascades further down its course is a splendid view to watch from the Neelimala.


Nelliyampathy

Nelliyampathy are the cloud-caressed magnificent hill ranges which are a picture to observe. It also offers a fine view of the Palakkad Gap, which is a geographical occurrence in the Western Ghats formation in this region, bringing into view, parts of the adjoining State of Tamilnadu.



Nilambur
Nilambur is 40 km from Malappuram town, north Kerala which is well-known for the oldest teak plantation in the world. The oldest teak tree, Kannimari, is an odd attraction at the Conolly Plot.





Pattumala 

Pattumala or Hill draped in silk in Peermede in exhilarating Idukki, has charms like no other. The lofty peaks, the little streams and the green expanse of the tea plantations give the hills an speechless beauty.




Peermede
Peeremede is a lovely hill station, an ideal retreat in the Western Ghats and a choice break for tourists on the journey to the Periyar Tiger Reserve. Sprawling gardens of tea, coffee, cardamom, rubber and eucalyptus lying side by side with natural grasslands, pine forests and waterfalls make this an ideal summer resort. The hills offer a spectacular sight of the sunrise and sunset.



Ponmudi

Ponmudi is an enchanting hill resort with narrow twisting pathways and cool, green vicinity along with its tea estates and mist covered valleys. Ponmudi is a fast developing hill resort with cottages and dormitory accommodation facilities.





Pullumedu
Pullumedu hills are along the Periyar River, offers a eye-catching view of hills draped in lush greenery. Velvet lawns and rare flora and fauna put in to the beauty of Pullumedu. The famous Sree Ayyappa Temple at Sabarimala and the Makara Jyothi illuminations at the shrine are visible from here. It’s 43 km from Thekkady, 26 km from Periyar.




Ramakalmedu
Ramakalmedu is 16 km from Nedumkandam, offers a spectacular view of the graphic villages of Bodi and Cumbum on the eastern slope of the Western Ghats. It’s distanced 45 km from Idukki, 40 km from Thekkady and 75 km from Munnar. 





Vagamon

Vagamon is a breathtaking Hill Station in Kerala known for its Grass Lands. You could take a trek across the chain of three hills - the Thangal hill, the Murugan hill and the Kurisumala, important for Muslims, Hindus and Christians respectively.





Wayanad

Wayanad is a bio-diverse region spread across 2,132 square kilometers on the lofty Western Ghats. A holistic convergence of wilds, history and culture, Wayanad is located on the southern tip of the glorious Deccan plateau.
